Visit Chester & Cheshire is the tourism management organisation for Chester and Cheshire. As one of five tourism boards in England's northwest it is funded and supported by the Northwest Regional Development Agency. In a bid to promote the careers sector of Chester and Cheshire, the tourist board has hosted the Visit Chester and Cheshire CATS awards. The marketing team called for a compilation video of this event to encourage research into careers opportunities in the northwest and to increase the rich media content of their website.

Visit Chester and Cheshire required the CATS awards video as part of a larger marketing scheme to promote the leisure and tourism industry. This video acknowledges and celebrates the hard-work of the workforce which in turn advertises Chester and Chester as a thriving tourism district. The video also increases the interactivity and visual attractiveness of Visit Chester and Cheshire’s website, encouraging more and more online visitors and promoting a more sustained browsing retention.
