Showzam! is Blackpool's festival of Circus, Magic and New Variety taking place during February Half Term.
The Showzam! festival will see the town come alive with a myriad of world class performances and highly acclaimed entertainers appearing at venues throughout the town. During Showzam!, Blackpool will be awash with colour and excitement as vibrant street entertainers are located throughout the resort, including arrival points, car parks, shopping centres and town centre streets.
The innovative programme will include:
Heat the Streets, a spectacular fire and light show throughout Blackpool: the town centre will be dressed to promote Showzam! during the period and on 16 February, the streets will come alive with as we recreate the circus parade, station amazing fire performers at key locations in the resort, and end the day with Tower of Fire, a stunning fire and light show.
A new circus event at Blackpool Tower: International Circus Carnival, will be held over the half term and will see the amazing international artists perform in the famous circus ring and throughout the tower building.
