Listed as a World Heritage Site in 1987, Bath is an extremely pretty and well-formed city which lies on the outskirts of Bristol. Bath’s principle industry is tourism, with more than one million staying visitors and 3.8 million day visitors to the city on an annual basis. The attractions of bath mainly fall into two categories - heritage tourism and cultural tourism with the city boasting plenty of theatres, museums and sporting venues. Bath is most famously known for its naturally occurring hot springs, which alone bring 1 million tourists to the centre each year and with over 80 hotels and 180 bed and breakfasts, it’s no wonder that Bath has been a main contender in the South West Tourism Excellence Awards for several years running.

Visit Bath and Beyond is Bath’s main tourism information centre. Their main objective is to promote and distribute information about the city and to bring as many tourists into the city as possible. Short of actually visiting Bath itself, Visit Bath and Beyond decided that the best way to promote the city was to offer a video to their online visitors. There is so much to see and do in the town and this video provides a glimpse into the city and the many things to do there. The famous roman baths of Bath are shown alongside the new features of the Thermae Bath Spa, illustrating the perfect blend of old and new that envelopes the city. With elegant music and text positively punctuating the film, this video provides a perfect reflection of what Bath is all about.
